We are very, very passionate about our food. We love food. At the heart of our love is a passion for all things seasonal and, even more importantly, a passion for all things grown and reared in the local area. Here, in this little bit of England, we grow and rear some of the best raw ingredients this country produces. Add to this the issue of food miles, and we'd be crazy NOT to use local produce, even if it wasn't as good as it is. Therefore, if it's at all possible, we use produce grown or reared within a 20 mile radius of the pub in our dishes.
Our aim is to provide food that will suit everyone. To this end we have our weekday pub menu, featuring all the favourites such as Pie' n 'Peas and Fish & Chips.
In addition, we produce a regularly changing weekend specials menu featuring something that little bit different. From Slow Roasted Belly Pork to Sea Bass. All freshly cooked with care to produce dishes we think would grace any table
